Chicken Cheese Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chicken (shredded) – 1 cup
  • Cheddar cheese (grated) – ½ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese (grated) – ½ cup
  • Green chili (finely chopped) – 1
  • Fresh coriander (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tsp
  • All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Ghee or butter – for frying

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  • Mix salt in the all-purpose flour and knead a soft dough with water.
  • Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Make the Filling

  • In a bowl, mix shredded boiled chicken, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, green chili, coriander, salt, black pepper, red chili powder, and coriander powder.

Step 3: Roll the Paratha

  • Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll out into thin discs (like chapati).
  • Spread the chicken and cheese filling evenly on one roti.
  • Place the second roti on top and seal the edges by pressing gently.
  • Roll it lightly with a rolling pin to even out the paratha.

Step 4: Cook the Paratha

  • Heat a tawa (griddle) and grease it with some ghee or butter.
  • Cook the paratha until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

Step 5: Serve

  • Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or tea and enjoy!
